Cesenatico is an ancient sea-port of fishermen and traders. Nowadays the heart of urban life still takes place along the sides of the harbour, where the boats of the fishing-fleet land and where characteristic restaurants, famous for their fish specialities, line the harbour walls.

At the harbour , which was designed by Leonardo da Vinci, you can admire the Marine Museum, an almost unique collection of antique craft, set in a sheet of water whose multi-coloured sails and hulls recount centuries of fishing and maritime trade.

However Cesenatico is also beaches, pine-woods, sheets of water, spacious gardens and parks, sports facilities.
